Wow, it's been an amazing journey so far. It has been such a busy week. We've worked hard on many different projects this trip. Coming back a third time to Haiti, some things are familiar which is wonderful. I'm always happy to see the children and the women that work in the orphanage. It's nice to see improvements and updates such as a new generator, huge water tank for the neighborhood, showers with water pressure and additional rooms at the orphanage. The team this trip is mostly young adults and a few old ladies and old men. Ive enjoyed watching these energetic, big guys from the south shore work so hard and then come home at night to play with and entertain the kids. There are so many babies at the orphanage and the girls have been spending a lot of time helping to change diapers, feed and hold them. Tomorrow we are pouring cement at the school. Sunday will be my most difficult day be ause we are going to la saline to feed people who have absolutely nothing. To end on a happy note, Amy, frank, and I have had a wonderful experience together without any family fights :)
I miss you Neil and why haven't you written back? :)
Thanks for sharing Kim! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
