From Amy M
Today started out as a difficult day. Being so sore from lugging cement bricks made our job much more difficult. We emptied a large container of school desks and chairs and transported them to the school. We packed them into a huge dump truck and rode in the back with them. We had to make a bunch of trips back and forth. It was hot and the air here is awful. The only thing that kept me going was imagining the beautiful children sitting and learning at those desks. The kids here are amazing! As each day goes by the more I love them and the more I don't want to leave them. The love of God truly shines through them! We just had the most amazing experience watching all the children sing together. It probably was the best thing I have ever seen, and it made me realize I definitely want to come back here.

Hi Amy --- good job with all those desks and chairs!!! I can't even imagine how hard that must have been physically... the image of the children singing is bringing me to tears... God bless you all... sending a BIG hug!!!
ReplyDeleteProud of you!! Love you, Mom
ReplyDeleteI agree with you fully on that .. the best most amazing and heart changing thing I have ever seen and been through is when all the children sing at night - with no power.. just down stairs .. everyones praising God.. Its amazing, so happy you got to have that experience as well..
